Job Description:
The Scope
We are looking for an engaged Manager EUDR who brings solid expertise and a passion for FSC’s mission in Ukraine. FSC Ukraine has faced challenges caused by martial law, social transformation processes, and forest reform. At the same time, FSC remains a leader in promoting positive changes in the forest sector towards EU integration through FSC-aligned EUDR solutions. We are seeking a dynamic, motivated individual to join our proactive and passionate FSC Ukraine team.
Main Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop strategy for implementing and communicating FSC-aligned EUDR solutions.
- Hold workshops, training sessions, and share easy guides on FSC’s EUDR-ready certification.
- Advocate FSC certification as EUDR solution to diverse stakeholder groups.
- Increase relevance of FSC aligned EUDR solutions for government and other key stakeholders in light of EU integration.
- Strengthen FSC’s role in shaping EU-oriented forest policy in Ukraine.
- Represent FSC Ukraine in international forums, meetings, webinars, and communities.
- Support FSC Ukraine’s strategic planning and delivery of national objectives.
- Monitor and report progress toward FSC certification as EUDR solution.
- Advance Forest Management and Chain-of-Custody initiatives for a stronger supply chain.
- Coordinate with FSC International and Network Partners to align activities.
Your profile
- Master’s degree (or higher) in Business Management, Natural Resource Management or Forestry, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in relevant fields.
- Experience with and up-to-date understanding of EUDR is required; familiarity with other regulatory initiatives and sustainability frameworks is a plus.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of sustainable forest management, conservation, and restoration.
- Solid understanding of the value chain, wood and wood-based products industry compliance practices, and needs in sustainable development and EU policy strategy.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and stakeholder relations effectively.
- Experience with standard software packages (MS Office).
- Native Ukrainian language required.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written) required.

The Fine Print
- Location: based in Kyiv, Ukraine & Work from Home.
- Working Hours: Part-time - 20 hours/week (0.5 FT).
- Employment duration: 2 years, with possible extension based on performance.
- Travel: Regular within Ukraine and occasionally to European countries.
