What you will do

PGIM launched an Irish domiciled UCITS platform in 2013 (PGIM Funds PLC) which currently has over $9 billion in assets across 29 funds managed by PGIM Fixed Income, PGIM Real Estate, Jennison and PGIM Quantitative Solutions. These assets have come from third parties as well as PGIM seed capital.

PGIM has taken a strategic decision to aggressively pursue asset raising opportunities, particularly in the global retail markets where it has not been prominent to date. PGIM will develop relationships with third party distributors outside the US, with a primary focus on EMEA but also seeking opportunities in Asia, Japan & South America.

PGIM Investments plans to realize its growth opportunities in Europe by building regional teams to cover the largest addressable markets. As PGIM’s asset management affiliates have separate sales team(s) who target institutional opportunities (sovereign wealth, pension, central bank) PGIM Investments International is keenly focused on UHNW intermediary opportunities, including private bank, family offices, unit linked, fund of funds and distribution platforms throughout the region(s).

As part of the firm’s global expansion, PGIM Investments International is looking to hire a Manager to help support the management of third party distributors and platforms across the PGIM Investments platform. The successful candidate will report to the VP for Distributor relations Fund Administration and will be based in the firm’s satellite office in London on a hybrid basis.

What you can expect

  • Support the VP for Distributor Relations and Service in the proactive engagement with key distributors to both attract them to PGIM as a fund provider and ensure that once live, PGIM is a priority and strong relationship develops
  • Support the distribution effort and enhance the client experience with respect to
    • RFP support
    • Account opening and client onboarding
    • Trade related events
    • Query management
  • Manage processes to onboard and service client assets and help execute against shareholder servicing requirements
  • Maintain CRM and agreements databases and be able to report on distribution footprint and requirements
  • Support in the management of distribution agreements with operations, legal and distribution
  • Responsible for management level reporting of distribution and client activities.
  • Assist with regular fund reporting as well as ad-hoc requests
  • Support the VP for Distributor Relations and Service in the stakeholder management with sales teams to facilitate effective communication of client intelligence between sales teams and the rest of the business
  • Assist with project plans to help build distribution infrastructure
  • Ad hoc projects as needed to help management and distribution teams execute against business plan(s)Production and Dissemination of Reporting – daily, weekly and monthly reports
  • Maintain teams procedures and manage the annual update
  • Work efficiently and effectively, streamline processes where possible

What you will bring

  • Financial services experience, preferably within a Client Service/ Sales Support capacity
  • Understanding of Intermediary distribution, including knowledge of key firms
  • Understanding of Transfer Agency in Private and/or Public Asset classes
  • Understanding of fund types UCITS, QIF’s and Alternatives
  • Strong project management capabilities
  • High energy, enthusiastic, high quality interpersonal skills, especially influencing and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, work collaboratively in team environment as well as independently as a self-starter at times
  • Excellent attention to process and detail

What will set you apart?

  • Working knowledge of Salesforce is preferable
  • Additional Language skills would be an advantage
