Job summary

Starr is seeking a Senior Delegated Claims Leader to oversee ERS's Delegated Claims Authority arrangements. You will drive performance, ensure regulatory compliance and partner collaboration to deliver high-quality customer outcomes and strong financial results.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in delegated claims or insurance operations.
• Strong numerical and analytical capabilities with data-led mindset.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to drive improvements across complex processes and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Own the performance framework for DCA partners, ensuring contractual and service standards.
• Lead new delegated claims propositions from concept to BAU delivery.
• Champion best practice in claims strategy and standards.
• Analyse management information to identify trends and risks.
• Monitor KPIs (claims frequency, severity, indemnity spend) and recommend actions.
• Drive process improvements for customer experience and financial outcomes.
• Provide monthly performance analysis to management committees.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory obligations (Consumer Duty, TCF, fraud prevention).
• Collaborate with Assurance, Audit and Operations to address findings.
• Support commercial management of DCA contracts and supplier selection.
