About the Role and You

The Manager Data Management is a senior leadership position accountable for designing Regional Australia Bank’s Data Management Framework and Strategy and steering the data governance program to success.

To achieve this, the Manager, Data Management provides leadership, strategic direction, and guidance for the initiative. It includes defining clear policies, standards, and procedures for data management and fostering a culture of data stewardship and accountability across the organisation. This role will work in close collaboration to develop the Framework and Strategy with key business stakeholders including Business Intelligence, Information Security, Risk Management, and Compliance.

This position will ideally suit a candidate with solid expertise in data management governance frameworks, methodologies, as well as experience with data governance and management tools and technologies. The ideal candidate will have exceptional stakeholder management skills, with demonstrable experience in influencing and collaborating. They will also have a track record of successfully implementing and evolving data governance and management initiatives, improving data quality, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
