You will bring experience of consulting and a detailed knowledge of customs, associated processes and trade analysis.

Responsibilities:

You will work closely with our Directors to build relationships and support clients across a variety of sectors and geographies.

Your primary responsibilities will be to:

  1. Lead customs and trade advisory projects
  2. Advise clients on customs and trade matters relating to compliance, duty savings and utilisation of preferential trade arrangements
  3. Deploy and utilise data-driven insights to support long-term strategic planning
  4. Build trusted, long-term relationships with clients and partners
  5. Conduct audits and assessments of trade and supply chain operations
  6. Maintain a cutting-edge understanding of international trade and customs developments
  7. Identify and pursue new business opportunities
  8. Contribute to thought leadership, insights and commentary

Qualifications and Skills:

We are looking for intelligence, experience, interest and initiative.

  • Min 5+ years of experience in consulting
  • Min 7+ years of experience in customs / international trade
  • Expert knowledge of customs, duty modelling, data analysis
  • Excellent spreadsheet, presentation and analytics skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong client relationship management skills
  • Pragmatic and commercially focused approach
  • Qualifications in customs administration
  • Familiarity with export licensing, SPS controls, excise regimes
  • Familiarity with customs software products
