Manager, Customer Solutions Engineering (Remote, EMEA) - United Kingdom
This is an exciting opportunity to join Grafana Labs as an early member of our new, elite Customer Solutions Engineering team. As a Manager for the EMEA region, you will oversee building and managing a team of high-performing Customer Solution Engineers, who are technical and sales experts focused on platform adoption and expansion for our customers.
Your responsibilities include:
- Attracting, recruiting, mentoring, and leading a diverse team of Customer Solution Engineers.
- Applying servant leadership and a player/coach approach to maximize team performance.
- Planning and executing regional strategies based on leadership guidance.
- Collaborating with US Sales leadership on customer programs and community initiatives.
- Maintaining executive sponsorship of key accounts and acting as a thought leader.
- Understanding customer adoption strategies and developing enabling programs and materials.
- Partnering with Product Management and Engineering to meet customer requirements.
- Reporting on team activities, including demonstrations, deep dives, and evaluations.
- Providing educational content and enablement for customers and internal teams.
- Building and modifying dashboards and other technical solutions for production environments.
- Articulating Grafana's value proposition and strategy to customers.
- Providing feedback to internal teams on products and the competitive landscape.
- Contributing to documentation, blogs, videos, and knowledge base articles.
Ideal candidate qualifications:
- At least 3 years leading teams and 5+ years in high-tech roles such as Developer, Sales Engineer, or Manager.
- Experience mentoring and managing performance.
- Knowledge of open-source sales or cloud/product-led sales is a plus.
- Deep operational expertise in the Grafana platform.
- Experience selling monitoring, data, or visualization products.
- Creative problem-solving skills for customer adoption challenges.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions.
- Extensive Grafana deployment design expertise.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills for remote collaboration.
- Passion for solving technical challenges with innovative solutions.
Compensation and benefits:
In the UK, the OTE range is GBP 123,000 - GBP 150,000, with actual compensation based on experience and skills. Benefits include equity, bonuses, and other listed perks.
