We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our Liverpool FC team as a Manager, CRO Programmes. You will lead the planning, prioritisation and coordination of all CRO and personalisation initiatives across Liverpool FC’s digital estate. The role works closely with the Senior Manager to translate business objectives, behavioural insights and stakeholder requests into a structured pipeline of experiments, ensuring that testing activity aligns with wider commercial and product goals. This position is responsible for maintaining the CRO roadmap, facilitating ideation sessions with product owners and external agencies, and tracking the performance and learnings of all tests. We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual with proven, recent experience in UX/CRO, digital optimisation, or digital product roles, either agency or client-side. Ideally, you’ll bring e-commerce experience—preferably within a sport or lifestyle brand—and a passion for digital innovation. You should have a working knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to confidently brief developers and understand technical constraints. A strong instinct for good UX/UI and conversion drivers is essential, along with the ability to assess user journeys and collaborate with external design teams to ensure they resonate with a global fanbase. You’ll be comfortable interpreting analytics using tools like Google Analytics/GA4, heatmaps, and testing platforms such as Dynamic Yield, and have experience managing testing roadmaps via tools like Trello, Jira or GitLab. The role requires excellent communication skills, confidence presenting insights to senior stakeholders, and a balance of creative and analytical thinking. You’ll also need to be adaptable, collaborative, and proactive in problem-solving. Experience reviewing wireframes (e.g., Figma) created by external design partners, creating robust development tickets, and coordinating multiple tests and personalisation activities is key. Familiarity with KPIs, reporting, and working with external agencies is a plus. Desirable skills include experience in software development or digital product environments, knowledge of platforms like Magento, regional personalisation programme experience, and an understanding of GDPR and data privacy in testing.
