Job Description:

We are searching for an experienced Manager for the Corporate Simplification Team. Consulting at RSM combines multiple teams across Transactions, Risk & Consulting, ABA, and Outsourcing to provide client-centric solutions for current and future clients within the middle market. Our team plays a key role in driving firm growth, with over 1,700 professionals generating nearly £200m in revenue.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Corporate Simplification Restructuring Advisory team. The role offers the chance to develop a broad range of commercial skills across corporate reorganisations and Members Voluntary Liquidations. While primarily based in London, the role is open to candidates anywhere in the UK, working with Partners and Directors nationwide.

The position involves attending marketing events and supporting Partners and Directors with their marketing and business objectives. It promotes growth and career development, with a clear progression path.

Responsibilities:
  • Complete assignments following the Firm’s procedures and statutory obligations, including client arrangements and billing.
  • Collaborate with team members to plan and execute projects, managing cases per standards and regulations.
  • Support the team with training and development.
  • Prepare engagement letters, ancillary documents, and take-on procedures.
  • Complete KPIs for Partner/Director approval.
  • Ensure diary lines and compliance standards are met.
  • Review and approve documents in IPS and Virtual Cabinet.
  • Handle general case administration, including billing.
  • Understand project scope alongside senior staff and other teams.
  • Attend client meetings and analyze received information.
  • Manage large corporate reduction projects and asset distributions.
  • Prepare statutory reports.
  • Contribute to team development through networking and technical skills.
Personal and Professional Qualities:

The ideal candidate will be CPI or JIEB qualified, with experience in a similar role and capable of leading Members Voluntary Liquidations. Strong technical, analytical, report-writing, and interpersonal skills are essential. Additionally, the candidate should have:

  • Experience in stakeholder relationship management.
  • Ability to prepare or analyze financial information.
  • Experience in Corporate Simplification or similar roles.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Commitment to high-quality work within deadlines.
  • ACA or equivalent qualification is advantageous.
