We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Manager to join ourCorporate Finance Team with a focus on corporate financial compliance and complex areas ofaccounting. In this critical role, you will be responsible for managing and executing key financial reporting activities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements, and supporting the organization’s strategic financial objectives. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting expertise, exceptional analytical skills, and a collaborative mindset.
Some of the things you will be doing:
- Mergers/Liquidations: Lead the mergers and liquidations from a corporate accounting perspective ensuring compliance with GAAP and other applicable regulations. Ensuring that these are reflected correctly in our consolidation system.
- Transfer Pricing Calculations: Own the PCM Application which calculates the transfer pricing throughout the Group. Perform analysis on the output to paint a clear picture as to the underlying performance of the key entities within the Group.
- Environmental & Social Governance: Partner with the sustainability council to ensure we are compliant with any required ESG reporting.
- Technical Accounting: Assist in research, interpretation, and apply accounting standards and advising on their impact on corporate financials.
- Financial audits: Prepare calculations for share-based payments, impairment reviews and other key audit areas owned by corporate finance. Support regional finance operations for complex audit queries.
- Management Reporting: Monthly review of C-Corp and quarterly Board Pack presentation of financial statements with analysis.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with tax, FP&A, treasury, and finance operations teams to align on financial reporting and strategic initiatives.
- Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting and month end close activities as well as other related project work.
What technical skills, experience, and qualifications are required?
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with relevant post-qualified experience.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and financial reporting tools.
- Strong Excel skills, including the use of formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis functions.
- Strong technical accountant with a good knowledge of IFRS.
- Excellent organizational skills, with a proven ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with experience preparing executive-level presentations.
Desired:
- Practice trained (Big 4 or similar) and/or corporate finance roles within large organizations.
- Oracle EPM experience
- US GAAP experience/knowledge
