What will you be doing?

This role is for an innovative professional at the manager level, capable of working alongside our team to apply practical experience in planning, scheduling, and project controls within construction to solve complex problems. We value diversity and tailor our team to meet project needs. Managers are client-facing and play a key role in project delivery, requiring strong post-qualification experience in infrastructure projects or related fields.

As a senior consultant, you will leverage your experience to develop tailored solutions for clients while managing key relationships.

What will you need to do it?

We seek candidates with substantial post-qualification experience in planning and project controls, ideally in infrastructure projects, gained as a contractor, consultant, or within government.

Your experience should include:

  • Leading and managing tasks like monitoring, reporting, scheduling, cost control, risk management, change control, and process improvements
  • Advising clients in a consulting environment or industry/government roles
  • Experience with major infrastructure projects and programmes, especially in transport, defence, power, utilities, or nuclear sectors
  • Familiarity with UK public sector project delivery
  • Team management and application of project controls
  • Experience with earned value management standards
  • Developing project controls tools and reports
  • Risk analysis and project performance monitoring
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Willingness to learn and develop in planning and project controls
  • Proficiency in Excel, MS Project, and Oracle P6
