Job description

Precision for Medicine is looking for a Manager to join our Clinical Science Analytics & Insights team. The position can be covered fully remotely in the UK, Spain, Poland, Slovakia, Romania, Hungary, or Serbia.

Position Summary:

The Manager, Clinical Science Analytics & Insights (CSAI) is responsible for managing and developing the CSAI team, serving as a subject matter expert to support departmental initiatives, business development, best practices, and training. The role involves leading, managing, and motivating a team to ensure high-quality data work, proper resource allocation, and employee satisfaction.

Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to:
  1. Managing day-to-day operations and ensuring project deliverables.
  2. Developing team members through goal setting, performance reviews, and mentoring.
  3. Overseeing onboarding and training of new staff.
  4. Communicating strategic direction and supporting career development.
  5. Ensuring compliance with policies, SOPs, and regulations.
  6. Supporting departmental KPIs and objectives.
  7. Participating in project and financial management tasks.
  8. Providing expertise to other departments and supporting process improvements.
  9. Collaborating on training initiatives and SOP development.
  10. Consulting on project issues and supporting business development activities.
  11. Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum Required:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in science or health-related discipline.
  • At least 8 years of clinical research experience or proven competencies.
  • Strong experience in oncological clinical trials, including on-site monitoring or data review.
  • 2-3 years of supervisory experience managing CRAs, including staff development and evaluation processes.
Other Required:
  • Experience with electronic data capture systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and oral.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
Preferred:
  • Medical degree or related certifications (RN, OCN, RPH, PharmD, etc.).
  • Experience with data visualization software like JReview.
  • Knowledge of FDA, ICH-GCP, SOPs, and regulatory guidance.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.
  • Understanding of clinical trial methodologies and protocols.
  • Financial management skills at the project level.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
