Manager of Pediatric Inpatient Services Operations

The Manager, Children s Health Service Line Program Operations is an integral part of the service line leadership team providing operational and administrative support.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor Degree in healthcare administration, finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years progressive experience in managing and leading clinical programs.
  • Knowledge and experience performing financial management, strategic planning and implementation, business/program development, process improvement, outcomes measurement, reporting, and human resource management functions.
  • Financial and operational analytical skills required.
  • A proven ability to build consensus and motivate teams of diverse, multidisciplinary, and multi-departmental stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively at all levels of a complex organization.
  • Ability to communicate information in a clear and concise manner that is comprehensible to a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to utilize metrics and technology in a way that drives excellence, supports operations and facilitates integration.
  • Unimpeachable professional and personal integrity. Apparent energy, drive and passion for excellence.
  • Prior Epic experience required.

Essential Functions:

  • Oversees onboarding for inpatient physicians and Advanced Practice Providers in the Children s Health Service line, under leadership direction.
  • Regularly collaborates with revenue cycle liaison and oversees revenue cycle activities for pediatric inpatient departments.
  • Leads hospital-based projects with project managers and service line leaders.
  • Develops and monitors financial KPIs to measure inpatient department productivity.
  • Supports payroll, quality incentives, and CME processing/monitoring.
  • Collaborates with site administrators across the system to support inpatient operations.
  • Partners with clinical and operational stakeholders for new initiative rollouts.
  • Organizes departmental schedules, meetings, and seminars.
  • Provides technical and administrative support for pediatric inpatient departments.
