Manager of Pediatric Inpatient Services Operations
The Manager, Children s Health Service Line Program Operations is an integral part of the service line leadership team providing operational and administrative support.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor Degree in healthcare administration, finance, or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years progressive experience in managing and leading clinical programs.
- Knowledge and experience performing financial management, strategic planning and implementation, business/program development, process improvement, outcomes measurement, reporting, and human resource management functions.
- Financial and operational analytical skills required.
- A proven ability to build consensus and motivate teams of diverse, multidisciplinary, and multi-departmental stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively at all levels of a complex organization.
- Ability to communicate information in a clear and concise manner that is comprehensible to a wide range of stakeholders.
- Ability to utilize metrics and technology in a way that drives excellence, supports operations and facilitates integration.
- Unimpeachable professional and personal integrity. Apparent energy, drive and passion for excellence.
- Prior Epic experience required.

Scheduling Requirements:
Essential Functions:
- Oversees onboarding for inpatient physicians and Advanced Practice Providers in the Children s Health Service line, under leadership direction.
- Regularly collaborates with revenue cycle liaison and oversees revenue cycle activities for pediatric inpatient departments.
- Leads hospital-based projects with project managers and service line leaders.
- Develops and monitors financial KPIs to measure inpatient department productivity.
- Supports payroll, quality incentives, and CME processing/monitoring.
- Collaborates with site administrators across the system to support inpatient operations.
- Partners with clinical and operational stakeholders for new initiative rollouts.
- Organizes departmental schedules, meetings, and seminars.
- Provides technical and administrative support for pediatric inpatient departments.
