Job Description

The Cambridge office is on an ambitious growth journey, and we need equally driven and ambitious people to join our Business Tax Team.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Tax Advisory Manager to join our team in Cambridge. As a Tax Advisory Manager, you will play a crucial role in identifying planning opportunities and delivering exceptional service to a diverse portfolio of clients.

The role is within our Business Tax team and will include advisory services for both corporates and their owners.

  • Provide expert advice on business tax matters (corporate and ownership related) and respond to client queries.
  • Attend client meetings and present tax-related information clearly and concisely.
  • Stay updated on tax laws, regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance and identify new opportunities.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide comprehensive solutions to clients.
  • Contribute to business development activities and help grow the firm's client base.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Qualifications

  • ACA, CTA, or equivalent professional qualification in accounting or taxation.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex tax laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to clients.
  • Client-focused approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
  • Ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
