Job summary

ICAEW is partnering with a well-regarded independent accountancy practice in Diss to recruit a Manager who will have autonomy, influence and a clear path to progression.

You will manage an established client portfolio, build long-term client relationships, lead a team, work with Partners on firm direction and growth, and engage in advisory and wider commercial conversations, with flexible, hybrid working.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified with a strong background in accountancy practice.
• Experience managing both clients and people.
• Ambitious for progression within a growing firm.

I am working with a highly regarded independent accountancy firm with offices across East Anglia who are looking to strengthen its senior management team in Diss. This is much more than simply taking responsibility for another client's portfolio. You will work closely with the partners, have a real voice in the business and be given the freedom to develop relationships, people and opportunities in your own way. The opportunity

You will manage an established portfolio of clients, many of whom value their accountant as a trusted business adviser rather than simply a compliance provider.

Alongside this, you will

About you

You will ideally be ACA or ACCA qualified with a strong background in accountancy practice and experience of managing both clients and people.You may be an Assistant Manager looking for that next step, or a Manager who wants more influence, flexibility and longer-term progression than your current firm can offer.
