Job summary

SIXT invites ambitious graduates to join 1ST GEAR!, our global Management Trainee Program. This 12-month journey fast-tracks you into a real leadership role with hands-on responsibility from day one across our mobility business in the United Kingdom.

You’ll rotate through Sales, Customer Service, Fleet Management and Performance Management, develop leadership and problem-solving skills, and graduate into a leadership position on completion. Relocation within the UK is required.

YOUR MANAGEMENT CAREER PATH AT SIXT

• You take on responsibility early in your 12-month program, support the achievement of our operational goals, and contribute to greater efficiency and shared success within the team. Upon successful completion of the program, you will be placed directly in a leadership position anywhere in the United Kingdom
• You gain insights into key business areas such as Sales, Customer Service, Fleet Management, and Performance Management, and develop further along clear learning and performance goals
• You work in the operational day-to-day business from day one, get to know our core operations as a Sales Executive, and are supported through training in communication, conflict resolution, sales, and problem-solving strategies
• You collaborate closely with Branch Managers and Area Directors to learn leadership on the job
• You will graduate into a leadership position upon successful completion of the program. As these roles are based on business needs, you must be willing to relocate anywhere within the United Kingdom to begin your management career

YOUR SKILLS MATTER

• Growth MindsetYou have completed a bachelor's or business management degree or gained relevant professional experience in Sales, Customer Service, Tourism, Hospitality and Management

• Communication ExcellenceYou have strong communication skills in English (other languages are a plus)

If your application is successful, youmustbe available to attend ourAssessment Centre on Thursday November 5th at our Manchester Piccadilly branch. If you are successful in joining the programme it will begin on Tuesday December 15th

As these management opportunities are allocated based on business need,successful graduates must be willing to relocate anywhere within the United Kingdom. Relocation is an essential requirement of the programme and should be carefully considered before applying.
