Job summary

Northrop Grumman UK is seeking a Management Systems and Audit Manager for New Malden. The role is hybrid and requires UK citizenship with 25% travel.

The post reports to the Quality & Mission Assurance team and oversees the Integrated Management System (IMS) and a risk-based audit programme. • Proven experience managing and improving integrated management systems within a regulated environment.
• Strong knowledge of management system standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Experience creating, managing and delivering risk-based audit programmes.
• Lead Auditor qualification.
• Excellent stakeholder-management skills with the ability to influence and build strong relationships across all organisational levels.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a UK Government security clearance (SC or eligible).

Position Overview

Management Systems and Audit Manager – New Malden (hybrid). UK citizenship required, 25% travel. The role reports to the Quality & Mission Assurance team and manages the Integrated Management System (IMS) and a risk‑based audit programme.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, maintenance and continual improvement of Northrop Grumman UK’s IMS, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 20000‑1, ISO 27001 and ISO 14001.
• Manage the company’s external ISO certification portfolio and support new certification achievements aligned to business strategy.
• Develop and oversee a three‑year risk‑based audit programme covering internal processes, programmes, suppliers, customers and external assurance activities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by partnering with process owners and business functions to enhance efficiency, effectiveness and compliance.
• Lead and develop the Management Systems and Audit team, providing coaching, support and professional development opportunities.
• Monitor performance metrics, identify trends, risks and opportunities, and provide meaningful reporting to senior stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Experience using SharePoint and digital management systems.
