Job summary

JD Sports Jersey store in St Helier invites applications for a Store Supervisor role. You will lead a small team, recruit and train staff, and drive customer service and sales in a fast-paced environment. You will analyse sales data with the Store Manager, manage day-to-day operations, cash handling, and staff scheduling.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or management experience in a fast-paced Retail/ Customer Facing environment.
• Passionate about retail & hold a good understanding of the latest trends and our competitors.
• Previous experience of coaching and developing individuals.
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and KPI’s.
• Experience in analysing KPI’s data to making commercial decisions.
• Keen eye for detail & commerciality. Previous experience within visual merchandising would be advantageous.
• Promote JD Group values to internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Participate in hiring, onboarding, and training new employees.
• Provide feedback and coaching to colleagues to improve performance.
• Support the management in maintaining colleague schedules to ensure proper coverage and productivity

Role overview:

Role objectives and KPI’s:

• Contribute to achieving or exceeding the stores monthly sales target.
• Drive all additional KPIs including but not limited to Units, Conversion, ATV, UPT.
• Achieve upselling or cross-selling targets.
• Maintain a high Net Promotor Score.
• Ensure stock accuracy during store Audits.
• Ensure all new colleagues complete mandatory training required.
• Ensure employee satisfaction stores or engagement survey results meet or exceed company benchmarks.
• Assist in keeping operational costs within the allocated budget

Skills and Experience:
