Job summary

The Aspire Federation is seeking a highly motivated MIS and Data Manager to join our Oakfield/Landgate campuses in Hindley. You will develop, implement and oversee timetabling systems, maintain MIS, and provide accurate data reporting for senior leaders and external agencies.

You will also manage new systems, ensure central data collation, build dashboards, and support timetabling with NovaT; contribute to quality measures aligned with the federation’s strategic vision.

Qualifications

  • The role requires strong data handling and timetabling expertise.
  • Experience in developing or maintaining Management Information Systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and oversee the federation’s timetabling systems.
  • Maintain the MIS and provide accurate data reporting and analysis for senior leaders and external agencies.
  • Manage and implement new systems as required.
  • Oversee central collation of data from schools and develop a central information dashboard.
  • Support timetabling and marksheets using NovaT and related software.
  • Establish quality measures aligned with the federation’s strategic vision.

37 hours per week, term time working 41 weeks per year

The Role

The Aspire Federation is seeking to appoint a highly motivated, analytical and forward-thinking MIS and Data Manager.

The successful candidate will develop, implement and oversee the Federation’s timetabling systems. They will develop and maintain the Management Information Systems (MIS) and provide accurate data reporting and analysis for Senior Leaders, the Governing Body and other agencies including the DfE and Local Authority. They will also manage and implement any new systems.

They will ensure effective procedures and processes for central collation of all relevant data from the schools and oversee the implementation of this. They will develop and implement a central dashboard of relevant information.

They will support senior leaders in the production of the school timetable and appropriate marksheets, using relevant software, (currently NovaT).

With relevant senior leaders; establish other appropriate quality measures for tracking, that support the Federation’s strategic vision.

The successful candidate will be required to work at least 1 week in August for exam results.
