We are looking for an experienced Management Information Analyst to join an aspiring company based in Leeds.

This is an ideal role for a Management Information Analyst who is highly organised and conscientious.

Role Responsibilities:

The Management Information Analyst will be responsible for:

  1. Actioning, developing, and analysing a wide range of tasks and initiatives, including but not limited to:
  • Automation of reporting (mainly moving current reporting to MS Reporting Services)
  • Preparation of presentations (mainly in MS PowerPoint)
  • Ad hoc Management Information
  • Recurring KPI and report production
  • Budget reporting
  • Human Resources reporting
  • Presentation of data and analysis of business models to identify gaps, exceptions, and suggest improvements to management

While there is no confirmed supervisory element, the individual should be capable of self-managing workload, communicating with stakeholders regarding deadlines and priorities, and managing expectations.

The individual will report to the Team Leader of the Business Intelligence Team, who will provide training, support, and mentoring. Due to the senior nature of the role, the individual is expected to work largely on own initiative, providing strategic value through reporting, KPI production, and supporting materials for client meetings and presentations.

The role also involves a creative and strategic aspect, including identifying issues, cost savings, or revenue-increasing areas, supported by effective MI, analysis, and presentation to influence decision-makers.

Skills and Experience Required:
  • Excellent T-SQL Query writing skills
  • Experience in building advanced reports using SSRS
  • Advanced Access and Excel skills
  • Experience with SSIS/SSAS and VBA is an advantage
  • Experience delivering Business Intelligence solutions from scope to delivery
  • Ability to gather requirements and communicate with senior stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Solution testing and reconciliation skills
  • Excellent analytical skills
