In our team you will learn:

In this role you will:

  • Serve as a technical advisor and coach to clients and team members
  • Advise clients on improving assurance capability e.g. controls testing
  • Understand and solve complex business problems and present back solutions to stakeholders
  • Write point of views on industry trends
  • Lead and support in development of sales proposals and offerings
  • Contribute assurance, risk and/or compliance SME knowledge to a wide range of both internal and external stakeholders
  • Coach our teams and develop their skills and knowledge
  • Contribute to the Risk practice community and build a network across Accenture & clients
  • Act with integrity (perform work with honesty, objectivity, diligence, and responsibility) and adhere to relevant code of ethics/values (at Accenture and client site)
  • Respect the confidentiality of information gained during the course of your work

We are looking for experience in the following skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above (preferably in maths, economics, accounting, or relevant sciences)
  • Preferably part or fully ACCA/ACA/CCAB/IIA qualified or equivalent experience (5 – 8 years). Additional qualifications such as CISA are beneficial
  • Relevant financial services audit or assurance experience with strong knowledge of current internal audit practices and techniques
  • Proven experience to successfully lead an audit or assurance engagement, managing multiple deliverables within a pressurised environment
  • Strong understanding of front to back risks, processes and controls including the distinction between them
  • Demonstrable project management and project delivery experience
  • Working in a team setting to tight and agile deadlines
  • Experience managing medium to large teams, experience of managing remote teams is beneficial
  • Strong MS office skills specifically in PowerPoint & Excel
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Commercial awareness to lead commercial engagements and spot market opportunities
  • Ability to work across both Technology and Business stakeholders
