Job summary

Capgemini Invent in the UK is recruiting a transformation consultant to support Government clients, developing business cases using the HM Treasury 5-case model, and applying Green Book guidance to quantify benefits and options.

You will contribute to proposals, internal think-tanks, and thought leadership while building relationships across government bodies. Capgemini Invent offers a hybrid working model and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Experienced in supporting programmes and projects in the public sector.
• Supported business case development or review/assurance.
• Experience within a consultancy or as a civil servant, and you will have relationships across government organisations.
• Confident working in a technology environment - you will bring proven skills and experience in UK Public Sector business case.

Responsibilities

• Support Government clients in developing business cases for major digital and strategic transformation programmes in the Public Sector.
• Develop evidence, quantify and describe benefits, provide financial and economic analysis, shape delivery options and write cases for change using HM Treasury 5-case model and Green Book guidance.
• Advise clients on existing business cases and recommend next steps; contribute to proposals, bids and thought leadership.

Your Role

In this role you will play a key role in:

• Supporting our Government clients in their development of business cases for some of the largest digital and strategic transformation programmes in the Public Sector.
• Developing evidence, including quantifying and describing benefits, providing financial and economic analysis, shaping options for delivery and design and writing compelling cases for change, all using HM Treasury ‘5 case model’ approach and applying Green Book guidance.
• Advising clients on their existing business cases and recommending next steps.

Role

As part of your role you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the business and your own personal growth, through activities that form part of the following categories:

• Business Development – Leading/contributing to proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitch contribution.
• Internal contribution – Campaign development, internal think-tanks, whitepapers, practice development (operations, recruitment, team events & activities), offering development.
• Learning & development – Training to support your career development and the skills demand within the company, certifications etc.

Your Profile
