OverviewWe are partnering with a prestigious London-based higher education institution to recruit an experienced Management Development Consultant. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in driving leadership and management capability across a large, diverse and intellectually vibrant organisation.You will join a high-performing Organisational Development team delivering strategic and inclusive learning and leadership initiatives to staff at all levels - from aspiring managers to senior leaders. This fixed-term role is perfect for someone passionate about creating high-impact, blended development programmes in a complex and values-driven environment.The RoleAs a Management Development Consultant, you will:Design and deliver innovative, blended management development programmes, including face-to-face workshops, virtual delivery and on-demand digital content.Lead the full L&D cycle - from needs analysis through to evaluation - ensuring alignment with wider strategic and people objectives.Collaborate with stakeholders across HR, EDI, Research and Faculties to ensure interventions are inclusive, fit-for-purpose, and evidence-led.Support the continuous improvement of leadership capability through coaching, mentoring, and action learning sets.Engage external delivery partners when needed and contribute to procurement and partnership processes.Play an active role in promoting apprenticeships and working closely with digital learning colleagues to create accessible, scalable learning content.Champion evaluation and impact measurement, using data and feedback to drive improvements.Candidate ProfileYou will bring:Substantial experience in designing and delivering management development initiatives in large, complex organisations.A strong track record across the full L&D cycle, particularly in blended and digital learning.Confidence working consultatively with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.A deep understanding of inclusive learning design and development needs across diverse management populations.Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.Organisational agility and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.Budget management experience and a proactive, data-informed approach to continuous improvement.Desirable but not essential:Experience working with academic or technical specialist populations.Familiarity with SharePoint content design and/or psychometric tools (e.g. Insights, DISC, SDI).
