ROLE DESCRIPTION

We are recruiting financial risk transformation candidates into our Financial Crime, Risk, Regulation, and Finance (FRRF) capability. Successful candidates will advise on risk frameworks and controls, and deliver transformation projects supporting Chief Risk Officers (CRO). This includes implementing regulatory changes (e.g., Basel, IFRS9, BCBS), supporting IRB and VaR modelling, and automating risk controls.

Projects include:

  • Delivering solutions to improve risk management practices and control frameworks, including Risk Assessments, Target Operating Model design, Risk Rating Methodologies, and Gap Analysis
  • Implementing regulatory changes
  • Developing technology and data solutions for credit, operational, market, liquidity, and capital risk management
  • Communicating risk policies, developing risk models, ensuring controls are effective, and providing research and analytical support
  • Supporting client account planning, business development, and networking within Capco UKFRRF

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements around Basel, IFRS9, BCBS, with focus on credit, market, liquidity, and capital risks
  • Experience with financial regulations and regulatory change implementation
  • Experience in risk and regulatory practices within financial services
  • Ability to evaluate current risk management processes and define improvements
  • Strong change management experience, either as a consultant or within a financial institution
  • Proven project management or business analysis expertise
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to present to diverse stakeholders from AVP to senior MDs
