SetSales is part of United Media, which focuses on building large-scale industry media and conference products in sectors such as insurance, HR, private equity, and retail. To date, we have organically launched 8 media companies and acquired one.

The Opportunity

As a Management Associate, you will oversee, develop, and manage all aspects of SetSales. Your responsibilities include building and leading a world-class team, ensuring the successful execution of conferences, and driving the brand strategy.

This role is ideal if you possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, are highly ambitious, forward-thinking, and driven to inspire and lead a team. You thrive in fast-paced environments and aim to scale the company rapidly.

Responsibilities
  1. Recruit, build, and develop a high-performing team.
  2. Build an ecosystem and deliver outstanding products.
  3. Set clear expectations, establish goals, and provide ongoing detailed feedback and performance evaluations.
  4. Execute the strategy swiftly and effectively.
  5. Develop the company’s brand as the premier platform for inspiration, knowledge, and networking.
  6. Oversee planning, execution, and completion of conferences within set timelines and budget constraints.
  7. Assign tasks to team members across departments, monitor progress, and ensure project objectives are met.
  8. Identify opportunities to expand business with existing clients and collaborate with business development teams for new client acquisition.

Requirements
  • At least 4 years of experience in high-paced, high-ethic environments such as management consulting, investment banking, top-tier corporate roles, or start-ups.
  • Bachelor’s degree with outstanding academic results, possibly followed by an MBA.
  • Strong commercial awareness and a passion for business.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid UK, EU, or US work permit.
