Management Apprentice Role at Travis Perkins

Join our friendly and hardworking team as a Management Apprentice. You'll be at the forefront, engaging with customers in our shop. As part of the branch team, you'll play a vital role in our success by providing first-class service.

What will I be doing?

Every day in TP branch life is different, but here are some key responsibilities:

  • This role is designed to develop management skills, with the goal of progressing into a management position at our Halifax branch, which has 12 team members, a fully operational tool hire service, and 2 HGV vehicles.
  • Deliver high standards of customer service by being helpful and friendly, building relationships with customers.
  • Inside the branch, you'll process customer orders, answer phones, manage stock, and face shelves.
  • Handle supplier deliveries and accurately book them into the branch.
  • Receive full training on our systems, with a dedicated coach supporting your development over the first 12 months.
  • Maintain a safe and tidy working environment, ensuring safety standards are upheld.
  • Learn about sales and operations, with opportunities for progression.
About Us

My name is Natalie, part of the Recruitment Team at Travis Perkins. I started my career in a local branch and advanced to Branch Supervisor. We support our team with excellent training and development opportunities.
