We have an exciting opportunity to join the collaborative and friendly Management Accounting team. Working alongside the Finance Business Partner and Assistant Finance Managers, you will assist with multiple departments and provide administrative and accounting support.

What you will be doing:
  • Providing administrative and accounting support - month-end processing, preparing grant claims and audits, creating projects, and housekeeping activities.
  • Running reports, expense transfers, invoicing, and journals.
  • Supporting with budget and quarterly forecasts.
  • Supporting Group Leaders and Project Managers.
  • Supporting ad-hoc projects to expand your knowledge, especially as the finance team adopts a new accounting system.

This role is known internally as 'Finance Technician'.

About You

Experience and skills you bring:

  • Experience working in a busy, fast-paced finance department.
  • Strong customer focus.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Experience working with large data sets.
  • Attention to detail.
  • IT skills, familiar with Microsoft Office.
  • AAT qualified or equivalent.
