Overview

Sharp Consultancy are currently working in partnership with a great business in York operating out of a service providing industry looking to recruit a Management Accountant.

This business is looking for a skilled Management Accountant to join a great business, that offer a very supportive environment to grow and develop your skills. They will need a dedicated professional to oversee full month-end and management accounts duties, reporting directly to a Financial Controller.

Responsibilities
  • Statutory Accounts production for a group of entities including reconciliations and auditor liaison

  • VAT return production and reconciliation

  • Management Accounts production and development of reports to budget holders

  • Management Information reports regular production and development of new reports as required

  • Review of balance sheet reconciliations

  • Office For National Statistics returns production and submission

  • Recharges & apportionment of expenses to business units

  • Assist with technical accounting treatment within Sage

  • Ensure financial records are accurate and properly recorded

Requirements / Qualifications
  • Strong career achievement in a similar role within a fast paced environment or experience in Professional Practice.

  • You must also have strong computer literacy skills, excellent communication skills, and a proactive and positive attitude.
