Qualifications

  • Ideally hold CIMA/ACCA or QBE qualifications.
  • Highly computer literate in Excel and Word.
  • 2 - 5 years accountant experience.

  • Prepare forecasts and plans as dictated by the group.

Salary of £37,000.

Role and Responsibilities:
  • To produce accurate monthly and annual management accounts along with notes, to company deadlines.
  • Balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accruals and prepayments are accurately recorded.
  • To support supervision of sales administration staff and accounting functions including sales and purchase ledger.
  • To take responsibility for producing monthly payroll return and addressing staff queries.
  • React to internal and external auditors' requests and take control over the production of year end returns (which are then assimilated into group statutory accounts).
  • To be responsible for preparing forecasts and plans as dictated by the group and VW.
  • Prepare and complete the VW composite returns to VW deadlines.
  • To follow company procedures on debtor meetings, keeping under limits of debts and take control of the debt collection process.
The ideal candidate will:
  • Ideally hold CIMA/ACCA or QBE qualifications
  • Highly computer literate in Excel and Word
  • Experience of Kerridge DMS
  • Team Leading skills
  • Ability to work accurately to tight deadlines
  • 2 - 5 years accountant experience
