Job description

About the Role:
As a Management Accountant, you will support the finance team in delivering timely and accurate financial information to management. Working closely with the Finance Manager and other departments, you’ll assist with month-end processes, variance analysis, and reporting, ensuring the smooth running of our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform month-end duties, including calculating revenue and costs for all business units.
  2. Post monthly payroll journals and conduct variance analysis of salary budgets.
  3. Assist in preparing the monthly finance board pack, meeting key deadlines.
  4. Maintain monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including accruals, prepayments, and deferred revenue.
  5. Collaborate with the FP&A team on monthly variance analysis across all business units.
  6. Liaise with events and consulting teams to finalize actual costs against budget on a monthly basis.
  7. Handle ad-hoc finance queries from across the business.

Qualifications Required:

  1. Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent).

Skills & Experience:

  1. Strong time management skills with the ability to meet internal and external deadlines.
  2. Excellent communication skills, with experience liaising effectively with non-finance colleagues.
  3. Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team.
  4. Strong Excel and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
