Management Accountant - Cardiff, United Kingdom (Hybrid)

This role collaborates within a fast-paced technology organization, working closely with business and senior finance stakeholders to support financial forecasting. It is responsible for delivering timely, accurate, and transparent reporting and interpretation of financial results to support effective decision-making. The role also involves providing clear analysis of actual and forecasted results for projects and assisting senior finance leaders in driving actions to meet financial targets. This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.

What you’ll do:

1. Collaborate with the senior finance team to provide clear analysis for effective decision-making.
2. Assist with developing forecasts, measuring, and reporting on progress across cash, P&L, and balance sheet.
3. Prepare accurate historic analyses by project, including month-end results, KPIs, and comparisons of actuals to forecasts/budgets.
4. Manage 2 direct reports.
5. Ensure area reviews for projects are conducted, working with operations to report contracts accurately, scrutinize financial results, and challenge the business.

Key Requirements:

• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA part-qualified
• Experience in a business-facing finance role
• Good communication skills
• Proficient in Excel
• Experience with Oracle, SAP, or other ERP systems
