Management Accountant - Belfast, United Kingdom (Hybrid)

This role involves collaborating within a fast-paced technology organization, working closely with business and senior finance stakeholders to support financial forecasting. It is responsible for delivering timely, accurate, and transparent reporting and interpretation of financial results to support effective decision-making. The role also includes providing clear analysis of actual and forecasted results for assigned projects and assisting senior finance leaders in driving actions to meet financial targets. This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.

What you’ll do:

• Collaborate with the senior finance team to provide clear and concise analysis to enable effective business decisions.
• Assist in developing forecasts for the business, measuring and reporting on progress across cash, P&L, and balance sheet.
• Prepare accurate historic analysis by project, including month-end results, KPIs, and comparisons of actuals to forecasts/budgets across financial statements.
• Manage 2 direct reports.
• Conduct area reviews for projects, working with operations to ensure accurate contract reporting, scrutinize financial results, and challenge the business.

Key Requirements:

• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA part-qualified.
• Previous experience in a business-facing finance role.
• Good communication skills.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Experience with Oracle, SAP, or other large ERP systems.
