G MASS is seeking an experienced Part-Time Insurance Accountant to join our Lloyd’s of London insurer team in London. The role focuses on management accounts and requires the ability to work two days a week in a flexible capacity.

You will maintain the general ledger, prepare monthly management accounts, and support budgeting, forecasting, and tax pack preparation while ensuring deadlines are met in a part-time arrangement.

Qualificações

• Accounting experience, ideally within the Lloyd’s/London Market
• Strong management accounts experience
• Good understanding of month-end and financial reporting processes
• Strong reconciliation and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines in a part-time capacity

Responsabilidades

• Maintain the general ledger
• Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L and balance sheet reconciliations
• Manage month-end close activities (accruals, prepayments, journals)
• Perform expense variance analysis and resolve reconciliation issues
• Support cash flow and treasury management
• Prepare intercompany and recurring journals
• Submit VAT and P11D returns
• Run monthly payroll and process expenses
• Support budgeting, forecasting, audits, and tax pack preparation
• Ad-hoc management reporting and financial analysis
• Continual development of reporting solutions.
