Hays Accountancy & Finance are partnering with a globally renowned manufacturing business, which is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to support the Senior Management team. The role involves preparing monthly management accounts, including stock valuations, production cost variances, and other financial data to improve margins and profitability.

Your new role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will produce detailed monthly management accounts, including variances, balance sheet reconciliations, and reviewing production schedules. You will also prepare intercompany re-charges, journals, and overhead cost analysis, presenting these to key stakeholders. Additionally, you will collaborate on the year-end audit and statutory financial statements, focusing on process improvement, budgeting, and forecasting.

What you'll need to succeed

Proven experience in producing management accounts within manufacturing, with skills in ERP systems and intermediate Excel. Ideally, you are a part-qualified CIMA/ACCA accountant or qualified by experience, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration.
