Job summary

Cygnet Health Care in Kings Hill, West Malling is seeking a detail-oriented Management Accountant to join the Finance Team on a full-time, 37.5 hour per week basis. You will support the Operations Management Accountant with monthly site management accounts, dashboard packs and financial analysis, in a hybrid capacity with 2 days per week at the Kings Hill office.

• Prepare dashboard packs and conduct variance analysis to compare actual results to budgets, providing commentary to management.
• Prepare site monthly management accounts.
• Maintain, update and reconcile financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Prepare quarterly internal audit packs.
• Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and projects as required.
• Collaborate with payroll to aid understanding of financial results.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our growing Finance Team in Kings Hill, West Malling and support the Operations Management Accountant with the successful delivery of the month/year end reporting processes. • Line management for 3 Assistant Management Accountants
• Preparation of dashboard packs and conduct variance analysis to compare actual results to budgets, providing commentary to management and attend monthly calls with operational directors and hospital managers to discuss results.
• Preparation of site monthly management accounts.
• Maintain, update and reconcile financial records where applicable, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Prepare quarterly internal audit packs.
• Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and projects as required.
• Collaborate with other departments such as payroll to aid the understanding of financial results, share information and build working relationships.
