Job summary

Atkinson Moss is seeking a proactive Management Accountant to join a growing finance team in Norwich. You will work closely with the Finance Director to deliver accurate financial reporting and commercial insight.

This varied role covers monthly management accounts, budgeting, forecasting and balance sheet reconciliations, with opportunities to streamline processes and improve controls. You will analyse performance, provide financial support to operational teams, assist audits, and contribute to

Previous management accounting experience.
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
Ability to work with stakeholders across the business.

Responsibilities

Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
Complete month-end processes and balance sheet reconciliations.
Produce weekly cashflow forecasts and monitor financial performance.
Reconcile Sage ledgers and ensure financial accuracy.
Support internal and external audits.
Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and controls.
Work closely with operational teams to provide financial insight and support business decisions.
Assist with business improvement projects and provide support to junior finance team members where required.
