Job summary

A leading global company is seeking a Management Accountant to support their team with increased workload. The role involves providing management information, preparing balance sheet reconciliations, and overseeing month-end processes. Candidates should have technical financial reporting knowledge, advanced Excel skills, and ideally be qualified with ACCA or CIMA.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Accountant within a Financial Services environment is desirable.
• Strong Excel skills including nested vlookups, data manipulation, and pivot tables.

Responsibilities

• Provide ad hoc management information and maintain quality service.
• Understand and prepare balance sheet account reconciliation.
• Monthly revenue reporting and performance of month end close requirements.

Skills

Technical knowledge of financial reporting under UK accounting standards

MS Office Literate

Advanced Excel

Education

Qualified for a recognised body (ACCA/CIMA etc)

Management Accountant - Inside IR35

Our client, a leading global company, are recruiting for a Management Accountant to join them on the team to support on additional workload that has come into the team

Hybrid working 3 days per week in the office
(More office working during month end)

Role:

• Provide ad hoc relevant management information to management, colleagues and other teams within the businesses where requested, maintaining quality service for business as usual activities
• Updates existing/creates new processes and procedures documents to ensure the documents are current and accurate
• Manages assigned projects and contribute to other projects as required
• Understand and prepare balance sheet account reconciliation including investigation and resolution of identified issues/concerns
• Understand and prepare recharges from the main service company
• Monthly revenue reporting, to include posting and reconciliation of Technical Ledgers
• Performance of month end close requirements to a strict timetable for the business unit
• Production of analysis for input to the forecasting and budgeting processes

Skills:

• Technical knowledge of financial reporting under UK accounting standards
• MS Office Literate (advanced Excel - nested vlookups, data manipulation, pivot tables etc)
• Previous experience of operating as an Accountant within a Financial Services environment would be desirable but not essential
• Qualified for a recognised body (ACCA/CIMA etc)
