Job summary

Local Hospice Lottery is recruiting a Management Accountant for a permanent, full-time position based in Felsted, Essex. The role involves preparing monthly management accounts, reporting on KPIs, and leading systems accounting. A hybrid working arrangement is available, and the successful candidate must have their own transport.

The salary is £40,600 per annum with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional accountancy qualification support.

Qualifications

• Part qualified in ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
• Experience in accounting and processing financial transactions using computer-based accounting systems.
• Experience in producing monthly and annual management accounts.
• Understanding of KPI targets and reporting.
• Iplicit accounting system experience is an advantage.
• Own transport is essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts in line with accounting policies.
• Provide financial reporting on key performance indicators.
• Act as lead for systems accounting.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
