Job summary

CDS CO-OPERATIVES is seeking one of three Accountants to join our central London-based team operating in a hybrid model. You will manage rent and service charge accounting, deliver timely reporting and analysis, and help prepare budgets and forecasts while supervising a junior colleague.

You’ll be studying towards ACA/ACCA/CIMA and bring strong Excel skills, analytical capability and meticulous attention to detail to CDS.

Qualifications

• Studying towards a recognised accountancy qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
• Experience in management accounting and financial reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills for complex reporting and analysis.
• Strong analytical ability and excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely reporting and clear analysis to CDS and clients.
• Lead rent and service charge accounting processes.
• Prepare management reports, budgets and forecasts; support audits and statutory returns.
• Maintain reconciliations and fixed asset records; supervise junior Accountant.
