Job summary

Thomas Franks Ltd. in Hook Norton, Oxfordshire, is seeking a Management Accountant/Assistant Management Accountant. The role offers exposure to transactional accounting and commercial analysis within a supportive finance team.

The role involves managing client accounts, reconciliations, budgeting support, and monthly closing activities. Part-qualified or qualified accountants (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or AAT Level 3 holders with at least 5 years' experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified or qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA.
• AAT Level 3 for Assistant Management Accountant.
• At least 5 years relevant experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Microsoft Business Central experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process accounting entries on client accounts.
• Reconcile accruals and deferral accounts.
• Analyse variances and discuss with Operations teams.
• Support operations with financial ad-hoc analysis.
• Act as direct contact for clients' finance teams.
• Raise sales invoices and distribute to operations and clients.
• Manage client accounts and monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist in budgeting and overhead analysis.
• Cash and banking reconciliations.
• Support accounts payable and sales ledger.
• Other ad-hoc duties to support team objectives.
