Description: Management Accountant job near Warrington paying up to £50,000

Hays Senior Finance are working with a global manufacturing business to recruit a newly qualified Management Accountant for their Warrington site. This company has manufacturing and sales sites across multiple continents and a combined turnover of £5bn+. We are recruiting for a newly qualified Management Accountant for one of the UK entities with a turnover of approximately £50m.

As Management Accountant, your responsibilities will include:

1. Managing the management accounts for the UK trading company.
2. Providing financial input and support to the management team and wider business.
3. Liaising and resolving all accounting queries/problems, including ad-hoc investigations.
4. Producing reconciled monthly and year-end accounts in line with deadlines.
5. Preparing annual budgets and forecasts.
6. Supporting the development of the assistant management accountant and assisting other team members.
7. Handling central finance tasks/projects such as vehicle leasing, utilities, Capex analysis, etc.
8. Coordinating with internal and external auditors.
9. Assisting head office with tax and statutory accounts preparation.
10. Participating in additional projects, including margin analysis and sales pricing models.

We prefer candidates who are recently qualified accountants, career-driven, with experience in larger, complex organizations. The UK entity is just one of several with operations in the UK, offering opportunities for development and overseas travel.
