This privately-owned group has enjoyed a rich history and has diversified into new sectors in recent years, now with multiple legal entities across property (residential & commercial), hospitality, agriculture, and others. This is an excellent opportunity for a Management Accountant to join the business, located near New Milton, and contribute to its success and growth.

Your new role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for management accounting for multiple entities, ensuring accurate financial reporting and management of various income streams. You should be comfortable analyzing details to ensure accurate reporting and enjoy problem-solving. Responsibilities include accruals, prepayments, journals, intercompany reconciliations, and providing budgeting support and business partnering with Operational Managers regarding monthly performance and analysis.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be an experienced accountant, whether qualified by experience, studying, or already qualified. Experience in producing monthly management accounting/reporting for multiple legal entities is essential. This could include experience with multiple clients in a chartered accountancy firm, multi-site/entity operations (such as care homes, hotels, or property management), or a group role. Good organization, communication, and IT skills are required, along with self-motivation and the ability to work within a busy team.
