They are known for their commitment to quality, innovation, and continuous growth, and we're partnered with them to recruit a skilled and commercially-minded Management Accountant to take responsibility for delivering timely and insightful financial reporting. This role will be key to supporting the leadership team with accurate management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to drive business performance.
Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
Perform detailed variance analysis and provide actionable financial insights.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Monitor financial performance, KPIs, and cost control initiatives.
Assist with year-end audit preparation and liaise with external auditors.
Identify opportunities to improve financial systems, processes, and controls.
Provide commercial support to projects and business cases.
Deliver ad hoc financial reports and analysis as requested by management.
Essential:
Qualified or part-qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA or equivalent).
Proven experience in a management accounting role, ideally within an SME environment.
Strong financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting skills.
Proficient in Excel and accounting software such as Sage, Xero, or similar.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Commercially aware with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
