Job summary

Management Accountant based in Peterborough is required for a privately owned national construction group. 5 days in the office; ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or finalist. The role offers career progression within a growing finance team and exposure to COINS accounting systems.

Responsibilities include monthly management accounts, P&L reviews, budgeting and quarterly reforecasts, and ad‑hoc projects. Power BI experience and strong communication are preferred in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA or finalist status.
• Strong numerical, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts for the group divisions.
• Liaise with management to review current and future performance.
• Produce monthly P&L reviews and KPI/MI packs.
• Assist with year-end audit pack and budgeting/reforecasts.
• Develop monthly management packs and support ad‑hoc projects.
