Job summary

Job Description

Role Overview

• Support and assist the Accounts team in various functions.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Process month-end journals, including accruals, prepayments, and fixed assets.
• Manage eSports accounting.
• Assist with balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support audits, both interim and statutory.
• Assist with system implementations.
• Participate in VAT return processes after cash accounting changes.
• Handle purchase ledger with VAT compliance.
• Process expenses and assist with credit control.
• Assist with bank reconciliations.
• Provide ad-hoc analysis and support project work.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Degree in accounts, AAT qualification, or studying CIMA/ACCA.
• Experience with Sage 50.
• Experience in football, media, or TV/Film sectors, especially with royalties or profit participation.
• Strong reconciliation skills.
• Multi-currency experience.
• Good VAT knowledge and understanding.
• Experience with purchase and sales ledgers.
• Willingness to learn and grow in the role.
• Additional languages (Spanish, German, Portuguese) are a plus.
