Job summary

Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust (CPFT) seeks a Management Accountant to join the finance team in Huntingdon. You will produce monthly management accounts, forecasts, and costings while collaborating with service managers and clinicians to improve financial support for patient care.

Qualifications

• AAT qualification or equivalent experience.
• CCAB part-qualified status or progress.

Responsibilities

• Produce timely, accurate monthly management accounts and forecasts.
• Perform variance analysis and costings for new service developments.
• Support cost improvement plans and regular budget reporting to managers.
• Maintain relationships with budget holders to support reporting and forecasting.
• Assist Finance Manager with budget setting for a defined portfolio.
• Support Delivering Best Value reporting for a portfolio of services.
• Contribute to service costings, cost-benefit analyses, and business case evaluations.
