Job summary

A dynamic company in Blackpool is seeking a Management Accountant to join their Finance Department. The role requires an ambitious candidate, preferably a Newly Qualified or Qualified Accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA), with strong management accounts experience and advanced Excel skills. You will support the ongoing growth of the company by producing management information and financial reporting in a positive working environment.

Overview

I am currently working with a dynamic and progressive business, based in Blackpool, who have enjoyed a successful period of expansion. They are looking to identify a Management Accountant to join their Finance Department and support the ongoing growth of the company.

Role:
It will suit an experienced and dynamic Management Accountant who is looking for a challenging role within a positive working environment.

Duties will include:

• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Production of management and financial information to business
• Presentation of management information packs to Senior Management
• Assist in the production of year end accounts
• Own and improve budgeting and reforecasting
• Own and provide financial input and drive
• Provide insightful commentary and performance recommendations to Financial Management
• Maintain up to date knowledge of industry trends, financial tools and techniques

Person

The successful candidate will be:

• High calibre and ambitious Newly Qualified or Qualified Accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA)
• Hold strong system skills - and must have advance Excel skills
• Have strong management accounts / management information experience
