Management Accountant (Belfast)

VANRATH are delighted to be working exclusively with an innovative market leading business based in Belfast to recruit a hands on Management Accountant to join the growing finance team. This is a newly created role that has come about as the company is going through a sustained period of growth.

About you

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent) with strong commercial experience.
  • Experience of working with financial systems coupled with strong Excel skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

What you'll do

  • Preparation of management accounts for monthly reporting and presenting financial reports to senior management team.
  • Preparation and management of budgets.
  • Assist in developing, implementing and improving business strategies.
  • Balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Regular bank reconciliations.
  • Administration of accounts receivable ledger and credit control management.
  • Management of accounts payable ledger and organising payment runs.
  • Maintaining fixed asset register.
  • Preparation of ad hoc analytical reports required to assist business operations team.
