Management Accountant / Analyst - Helston / Hybrid - £30-35,000

Trial Balance Consulting has been exclusively engaged by a long-standing client, a nationally operating specialist services business. The company has experienced rapid growth recently, leading to a significant increase in headcount. This is a new role within an established finance team, offered as a permanent, full-time position with a flexible hybrid working arrangement, allowing up to 3-4 days remote work.

Reporting to a highly skilled and friendly CFO, the role involves working as part of a small, experienced finance team. The Management Accountant will provide key financial analysis and produce commercial management information. Key responsibilities include:

1. Producing monthly and quarterly management accounts with commentary for senior management
2. Providing financial intelligence to support ongoing projects, cash flow analysis, and budgeting
3. Commentating on financial data in reporting packs for both financial and non-financial leaders
4. Supporting quarterly reviews and annual budgets
5. Identifying areas for financial performance improvement within divisions
6. Assisting with budgeting and business planning
7. Preparing for annual audits

This position requires an experienced candidate, either in a business partnering or management accounting role, or a senior Assistant Accountant seeking advancement. Candidates may be part or fully AAT or professionally qualified, or qualified by experience, with excellent IT skills, especially in MS Excel. Strong communication skills are essential, as the role involves liaising across departments.
