Job Description

  • Responsible for the preparation of monthly management accounts including P&L, balance sheet, and cashflow reconciliations, along with commentary and variance analysis.
  • Preparation of monthly board pack, consisting of performance analysis, commentary, and progress on key strategic actions, to be used by board of directors and senior management team.
  • Full monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Monthly reforecasting of business performance against original budget, along with commentary to support reforecast.
  • Assist and support the creation of annual budgets.
  • Preparation of quarterly VAT Returns
  • Ad-Hoc reporting to support key business decisions and strategy development
  • Assist in year-end external audit.
  • Development and management of dashboards to support KPI reporting.
  • Calculation & posting of monthly prepayment & accrual journals.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a proven track record in a similar role
  • Be proficient in MS Office, particularly MS Excel
  • Be able to present financial data to non-finance colleagues
  • Be an excellent written and verbal communicator
