Job description

Your new company
My client, a PLC construction business in Leicester, is seeking to hire an experienced Management Accountant for an initial 6-month period due to an internal secondment.
Your new role

  1. Process journals into the ledger and reconcile Balance Sheet Accounts
  2. Weekly Sales Reporting & assist with plot forecasting
  3. Monthly Actuals reporting via OneStream
  4. Assist in the preparation of month-end reports required by the Head Office
  5. Provide cover for cashbook and prepare weekly cash actuals
  6. Support the Finance Manager and Finance Director by assisting in the preparation of financial information efficiently and promptly
  7. Ensure compliance with TW Group and statutory financial requirements, completed on time
  8. Review Social Housing completions, including management of retentions accounting, forecasting, and cash collection
  9. Raise invoices, manage cash collection, and maintain the Sales Ledger
  10. Report on-site pre-acquisition costs to assist the Technical team in monitoring, controlling expenditure, and setting budgets
  11. Support and manage the Accounts Payable team
What you'll need to succeed
  • Qualified ACCA, ACA, or CIMA
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Solutions-focused with strong planning and organizational abilities
